Community Guidelines
Welcome to the Rebellion Roleplaying, an 18+ writing community devoted to providing a roleplaying experience where you can play what you like how you like it.
We strive to create a fun and safe community for roleplayers of all types to call their interweb home. To help ensure that RRP is as safe, inclusive and fun as possible we have written the following as a general community guideline that we expect every Rebel who finds themselves here to respect and uphold.
If ever you see another Rebel is not respecting these guidelines please contact a Staff Member so it can be reviewed and dealt with as soon as possible.

No but really, enjoy yourself! Whether you are an experienced roleplayer or this is your first time joining a roleplay community it is always a good reminder that we are all here to create and have fun together.
If you are new, we know that it can be intimidating to join a roleplay community. We recommend you go at a pace that feels good to you. Browse around our Roleplay Requests and Interest Checks to see what catches your attention. Post in our Introductions section to tell us all a little bit about yourself and read what other users have to say! You can also join our Discord or start a Conversation who pique your interest.
18+ is a Must
To join this Rebellion, you must be at least 18 years old. Each person matures at a different rate and you might feel ready to join RRP before you are 18, however for your safety and the safety of this community you will have to wait until your 18th birthday. Hard. Stop.
(Role)Play Nice.
It is ok to decline or stop roleplaying with someone. Likewise, it is fine to disagree or have differing interests than another Rebel. However, we do not tolerate any form of aggressive personal attacks, making fun of, trolling, flaming, bullying, hateful slurs or any other kind of disrespectful behaviour that degrades the quality of someone's experience here on RRP. No means no. Boundaries for individuals are non-negotiable and you are not allowed to just blatantly say you are ignoring them and if you want to, then you can enjoy a perma-ban instead.
Take a moment and think before you say something and remember it costs a Rebel nothing to be kind.
Be Open-Minded and Non-Judgmental
We Rebels are proud of our open-minded and non-judgmental community. There is no place here for any yucking someone else’s yum attitudes.
Honesty and Respect Goes a Long Way
RRP’s guidelines are few and we do our best to make sure they do not impede your freedom to build connections and roleplay. If a Staff Member approaches, they are doing so for a reason that is most likely to discuss a potential issue or suspicion of a guideline violation. Be open and honest Rebels. Do not automatically become defensive or ignore their contact attempts. Staff is there to help you learn and grow in this community. It is likely the issue that affects you or the community can be resolved.
If a Rebel is dishonest or disrespectful to a Staff member, they will be immediately banned for 24 hours and the behaviour will be reviewed. Serious and continuous demonstrations of this behaviour will be banned permanently.
A Place for Everything
Please be aware of where you are posting your threads and post them in proper areas. This allows other Rebels to find your content easily. If a thread is posted in the wrong area by mistake contact a staff member to move the thread.
Stay Active
Please be active! If a member does not log on within 1 year, or have there not been any responses to threads in a year, the members' threads will be archived. Once archived, those threads will stay there for 5 years before being permanently deleted. You can have your threads restored by sending a DM to Castiel or Rogue. But once that 5 year mark is reached, they are gone forever and we cannot recover them. Threads are moved and deleted once a year; usually sometime in January after the new year. As of today (12 Jan 2026), anything that had no activity since before 2020 have all been permanently deleted. Those who have not logged in since before 2024, their threads have been moved to archives.
NO Multi-accounts
If it is discovered you share an IP with another member, you will receive a DM from an admin or mod asking about it. If you have made another account because you forgot your previous login credentials, send a message to either Castiel or Rogue to help you recover your account and possibly merge the two. Or three.. Or.. you get the idea. If it's discovered you have more than one account and are not honest about it, you will be banned immediately.
NO Soliciting, Selling Anything, Asking for Payment of Goods
We are a FREE WRITING AND ROLEPLAYING COMMUNITY, not a marketplace to sell goods. There are other places on the great big internet you can do that. Reddit, Fiverr, Reedsy, just to name a few. Rebellion Roleplaying will not take responsibility or be responsible if someone is scammed out of their money or similar. That will be strictly on you.
NO Off-Site RPs Allowed.
Requests for off-site RPs, this includes but is not limited to; e-mail, discord servers and/or DMs, or pulling a member to another site we are not affiliated with, is not allowed. We will see this as a case of POACHING which is also not allowed. This will result in your thread being moved and you may get a ban for it. If you aren't going to RP on the forum—may it be in PMs or the forum itself—this is not the site for you. There are a ton of other sites out there that allow such things on Top RP sites that you can check out. If a member tries to move RPs off site, report them so we can deal with them accordingly. If you don't report them and go to the off-site location, you will do so at your own volition and discretion. Rebellion Roleplaying will not be responsible for anything that happens outside of this website or outside of our own discord server.
How We Handle Cases.
Most violations will result in a Rebel being issued a verbal warning and information on how to better observe RRP’s guidelines. After the verbal warning you will get an official warning. After three official warnings, you will be banned. Bans vary in length depending on the number and severity of behaviour. If a Ban is warranted the Rebel will be contacted with the reasons and the bans expiration date if applicable.
Staff always have the right to immediately and permanently ban a Rebel without warning based on their behaviour.
